The summer of 2024 promises to be a big one for Arsenal. Mikel Arteta has revolutionised the club since he arrived in December 2019, and regardless of whether the Gunners are successful in their bid to win the Premier League and Champions League this season, he'll want to take his project to the next level.
«We are going to have to nail the recruitment, because we know that we are going to have play a different level and the demands are going to be even higher,» the Spaniard said at the end of last season. Expect that to be the same this time around with Martin Zubimendi, Nico Williams and Jorrel Hato among the names Arsenal are looking at to strengthen the squad.
It could be an important summer in terms of outgoings too. Arsenal have not been the best sellers historically and have worked hard to avoid letting too many players drift into the last year of their contract as they try to fix that. Still there are a few players who, come the end of this season, will be into the final 12 months of their deal at the Emirates. Here football.london takes a look at who they are.

Takehiro Tomiyasu
This is one that Arsenal are set to address very soon. Takehiro Tomiyasu will have one year left on his current deal at the end of this season. Arsenal though have worked hard to convince the Japanese international to commit his long-term future to the Emirates.
A deal for an extension has been agreed with Tomiyasu and should be announced very soon. The 25-year-old has struggled with injuries, but his versatility has made him a key member of Arteta's squad.
