High-flying Stellenbosch went four points clear of the chasing pack in second place after beating Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday.
Steve Barker's side made it three wins in their last four DStv Premiership outings as they continued their late push for CAF Champions League football, with the Glamour Boys unmoved in seventh position after extending their winless run to three games.
Chiefs were looking to make it four straight wins over Stellenbosch, who came into the clash on the back of an impressive 12-match unbeaten run in the league which had lifted them up to second place in the table prior to their trip to Nasrec.
