But, that was cancelled at the beginning of the transfer window which is now allowing him the chance to speak with other clubs.
Many clubs have reportedly shown interest with Brentford the most keen. The Bees have even held talks, it has been claimed.
Meanwhile, for Spurs their recent signing of Dragusin from Genoa has signalled their intent this January transfer window.
Tottenham are said to be eyeing a move for Chelsea's Conor Gallagher as well, but it remains to be seen whether Pochettino will want to sell.
The former Crystal Palace loanee has been the captain for the Blues so far this season, but he could be sold for financial reasons.
