Robbie Keane has backed Manchester City to win the Premier League. The former Tottenham Hotspur striker believes that Pep Guardiola's side will win each of their remaining six games and defend their crown as English champions.
In an interview with Betway, Keane claimed Arsenal and Liverpool have a far tougher run-in. Both the Gunners and the Reds must still face Tottenham Hotspur, as well as Manchester United and Aston Villa, respectively.
Arsenal have, though, established a three-point lead over Liverpool at top of the Premier League following their defeat in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday evening. However, while Manchester City are one point adrift of Jurgen Klopp's side and trail the north Londoners by four, they do have two games in hand.
Four out of the treble winners' last six games come against teams currently in the bottom half of the division. Speaking to Betway, Keane said: «I can only see Man City winning it now.
»I said at the start of the season that I had a feeling it was going to be close, but I just think, with the experience they have, Man City will get over the line. On paper, they have the easiest run-in, while Liverpool and Arsenal have it tougher.
«Sometimes it doesn’t work out like that, but I can see Man City beating all the teams that they have to play, while the other two teams have some difficult games. City do still have Tottenham to play, and Spurs fans, of course, will not want Arsenal to win the league.
