Kane sent wake up call
Former Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham defender WIlliam Gallas has urged Harry Kane to leave the club this summer with Bayern Munich still pushing heavily for his signature despite the new Premier League season starting three days for Ange Postecoglou's side.
The defender has joined a list of high profile ex-players calling for the all-time England and Spurs top scorer to move on from his boyhood club before the end of the transfer window. He told Gambling Zone: "Harry Kane should move on from Tottenham – he should have moved last season.
"He has spent his career hoping that he could lift a trophy with Tottenham. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened. Last season was the best time for him to leave the club. I feel like he couldn’t have done any more for Spurs. He has won the Golden Boot for the club on three different occasions. He does his job perfectly."

Spurs fell to a 4-2 defeat in their final pre-season game of the summer on Tuesday, losing to Barcelona in Spain just days before the 2023/24 gets underway with a trip to Brentford.
Despite two goals from Oliver Skipp, a heavily rotated Spurs side were unable to match a strong team named by Xavi. On the eve of the new campaign it was still a positive showing from the effective B side put out by Postecoglou but chairman Daniel Levy has more on his mind.
