Tottenham's dressing room DJ deserves some serious plaudits for their music choice after their win at Luton.
Ange Postecoglou's side beat the Hatters 1-0, a result which sees them go top of the Premier League, despite going down to ten men through Yves Bissouma's red card.
It's no surprise Spurs were making the most of celebrating being top of the league. They remain there for the international break following Manchester City's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.
But it's fair to say their song choice for the dressing room after the final whistle won't be what most fans expected from a squad who are mostly in their 20s.
talkSPORT's Sam Matterface, who was lucky enough to hear the party after commentating on the game at Kenilworth Road, said: «I was outside the dressing room for about half an hour and they were playing, in the dressing room — this is brilliant — they were playing Islands in the stream! At about 500 decibels!
»If anybody had told me that Tottenham were going to have a party after beating Luton, I would never have guessed they were playing Islands in the Stream by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers!"
Postecoglou's spell at Spurs so far has already seen him have to speak about music.
The Aussie cringed at a reporter playing the 'Happy Days' theme tune last week when being asked about being able to go top of the league.
And he didn't escape Matterface's questions about his squad's surprising music taste on Saturday, either.
Matterface continued: «I did speak to Ange about the music choice afterwards, I said to him, 'do you have control of this?'
»He said, 'what are you trying to say mate?'. I said, 'well, it's more your generation than theirs!"
Postecoglou thought Matterface's assessment was fair enough.
We'd love to see James Maddison
