Tottenham predicted team vs Lion City Sailors: Postecoglou training session hints at surprise
Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou will set up his side one last time for a match on the club's pre-season tour of Australian and Asia.
Spurs' game against Leicester City was rained off before it began on Sunday in Thailand and now Postecoglou must ready himself for an encounter with Singapore Premier League side Lion City Sailors. They replaced the original opponents, Jose Mourinho's Roma, at late notice after the Italian side had financial issues with a promotor on an earlier part of their Asian tour.
One key element noticed in Postecoglou's training sessions ahead of matches on the tour, which also took in a match against West Ham in Perth, is that the head coach has organised drills and a training game which appear to feature the starting XI that will play the next day up against a side likely to form the substitutes' bench.
Another set of players then went through drills and a small-sided match away from the main group in the final stages of the session.
The opposition team on Tuesday in training at the Singapore National Stadium was a 4-3-3 line-up of Austin; Royal, Tanganga, Dier, Reguilon; Skipp, Hojbjerg, Lo Celso; Solomon, Richarlison, Perisic.

With that in mind here is our predicted Tottenham team to face Lion City, taking into account the other team on display with a change in midfield that included Pape Matar Sarr, who was on the receiving end of plenty of praise from Postecoglou in his press conference ahead of the game.
