Tottenham suffered a second successive defeat in the Premier League on Saturday after losing 2-1 against Wolves at Molineux. Spurs went into the game following the 4-1 loss against Chelsea — with a number of key players missing from the squad.
Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were both suspended for the fixture after receiving red cards against the Blues on Monday night. Meanwhile, James Maddison and Micky Van de Ven have both been sidelined with injuries and are not expected to return to action until January.

On the final day last season, Villa prevented Spurs from finishing in a Europa Conference League spot having also done the double over the Lilywhites and they will therefore be out for revenge.
Manchester City (A) — Sunday, December 3
In recent seasons, Tottenham have been a bit of a bogey team for Pep Guardiola as he is still yet to taste a victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, however this clash comes at the Etihad. Despite Postecoglou's front-foot style, Spurs seeing the bulk of the ball is extremely unlikely.
