England and Manchester City football ace Kyle Walker has called in lawyers to hit back at the 'wild and untrue' stories reality star Lauryn Goodman has been promoting.
Furious Lauryn Goodman had attacked Walker for playing down their relationship which she said was 'intimate and loving' by branding the England ace 'deluded'.
The reality star, 32, was responding to claims in a new interview where Kyle says he and Lauryn 'were never in a relationship' and suggested the two children they share were conceived via one-night stands.
Now a spokesman for the Manchester City defender, 33, has said he is consulting lawyers in order to end the stream of 'untrue stories' that Lauryn was bringing forward.
The spokesman said: 'Kyle has spoken fully and honestly about his mistakes and the true situation involving Lauryn.
'He has instructed lawyers and will not be making any further comment on the wild and untrue stories she is promoting in the media in search of self publicity and financial gain.'
Kyle is desperately trying to salvage his marriage to Annie Kilner, 30, the mother of his other three children, who kicked him out of their £2.7million home following a series of cheating scandals.
But after reading Kyle's version of events and his attempts to downplay their links, Lauryn has responded by saying the pair enjoyed a 'long-standing, intimate, loving and affectionate relationship.'
Her spokesman told MailOnline: 'Lauryn is aware of an interview Kyle Walker, the father of her two young children, has given to a newspaper today.
