Watch: Undertaker’s surprise appearance and Cristiano Ronaldo’s theatrics after Lionel Messi’s chants during Riyadh Season Cup tie

Cristiano Ronaldo was left stunned after he saw WWE star The Undertaker making a surprise appearance before the Riyadh Season Cup tie played between Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo, who recently celebrated his 39th birthday was left stunned following WWE’s superstar’s theme song and the way he walked out from the tunnel in his wrestling attire. The WWE legend made his way out onto the pitch, as both teams lined up prior to kick-off before getting his hand on the Riyadh Season Cup.

However, it was not a good outing for the Portuguese forward was left frustrated after his side’s 2-0 Riyadh Season Cup defeat.

Salem Al-Dawsari and Sergei-Milinkovic Savic scored one each in the first half to help Al-Hilal get the win.

It was not an ideal comeback for Ronaldo, who was returning from an injury. He has shaken off a muscle problem that led to Al Nassr postponing their pre-season tour of China last month. He had last played for Al Nassr in a 4-1 league win at Al Taawon on December 30.

However, following the defeat things went haywire after Al-Hilal fans started chanting the name of Lionel Messi. Ronaldo responded to opposing fans chanting the name of Lionel Messi in the stadium: “I’m Cristiano, not Messi”.

While he was going in the tunnel, an Al-Hilal fan threw a jersey at Ronaldo. The Al Nassr forward was not able to control his emotions he picked up the jersey before seemingly rubbing it against his crotch and throwing it back towards the crowd in frustration

AL Nassr are second in the Saudi Pro League, seven points adrift of leaders Al Hilal after 19 games.
