West Ham are closing in on the signing of Manchester City youngster Carlos Borges, according to a report.
The 19-year-old winger was prolific for City's Under 21s, who won Premier League 2 last season, with 21 goals in 24 appearances last season.
Premier League rivals West Ham have agreed a fee of £14million for Borges, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
City, as they have done in the past with Southampton's Romeo Lavia and other young players, will include a buy back clause in the deal.
Borges has been part of City's youth set-up since 2015 and been capped by several of Portugal's youth teams.
He will become the Hammers' first summer signing having missed out on Leicester winger Harvey Barnes.
David Moyes side were keen to bring the England international to the london Stadium but Newcastle have agreed a £38m deal to sign him.
The 25-year-old will fill the gap left by Allan Saint Maximin who is destined for a move to Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli.
Barnes will become Newcastle's second big-name capture of the summer transfer window following the arrival of Sandro Tonali who arrived for £52m from AC Milan.
