Curtis Jones has confirmed that he’s fit to face Fulham in the League Cup semi-finals on Wednesday.
The midfielder equalised for Liverpool against the Cottagers at Anfield in the first leg earlier this month as the Reds’ ran out 2-1 winners, but had been a doubt for the reverse tie after limping off in Sunday’s 4-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth.
Assistant manager Pep Lijnders would confirm that the 22-year-old had avoided injury when previewing the game. And Jones has now allayed any fears himself when offering an update on the minor setback.
"I'm good," he said. "I just had a little bit of pain in my hamstring, which I'd had for a couple of days. I had a scan on my leg and the muscle is fine.

"There was a little bit of tendon pain, so it'll be there for a little while. But I'm fine and ready to go."
Jones isn’t the only player to hand Jurgen Klopp an injury boost ahead of facing Fulham, with Lijnders also confirming that Andy Robertson would return to the squad against the Cottagers after a three-month lay-off.
The Scotland international has been sidelined since dislocating his shoulder during the October international break, with first Kostas Tsimikas and then Joe Gomez stepping up at left-back in his absence.
Without Robertson, Liverpool have built a five-point lead at the top of the table, reached the League Cup semi-finals, progressed to the FA Cup fourth round, and booked their place in the Europa League round-of-16.
