India safely secured their place in the 2023 Cricket World Cup final on Wednesday but there was still time for two sporting giants to come together beforehand.
Ahead of the clash in Mumbai, Manchester United legend and UNICEF ambassador David Beckham spent time with India captain Virat Kohli, as the former also paraded the Cricket World Cup trophy alongside batting great Sachin Tendulkar.
Taking to Instagram, Beckham shared a cheeky video of him enjoying a kick-about with Kohli with the two spraying passes along the floor, much to the delight of the thousands watching on inside the Wankhede Stadium.

Kohli and Beckham seemed deep in conversation ahead of India's vital clash with New Zealand, with the batter now needing just one more century to set an outright new one-day international record of 50 hundreds, after he drew level with retired former team-mate Tendulkar's mark of 49 against South Africa.
After winning by 70 runs to book their spot in the final this weekend, Kohli and India will go in search of a third one-day international World Cup title, after previous successes in 1983 and 2011. They will face Australia.
Beckham continues to keep busy after the recent release of his Netflix self-titled series 'Beckham' in which he provides in-depth behind-the-scenes footage of his life as a child, to growing and representing both United and England on the biggest stages of them all.
