What furious Thiago Silva did at full-time after Chelsea's dramatic win at Luton Town
Chelsea rounded-off 2023 with a 3-2 win over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road in the Premier League on Saturday to make it two consecutive wins.
Cole Palmer continued his impressive start to life in west London with two well-taken strikes either side of half-time. Noni Madueke added to his winner against Crystal Palace earlier in the week with fine strike past Thomas Kaminski.
Luton showed spirit in the final stages of the game with two goals through Ross Barkley and Elijah Adebayo before smashing Djordje Petrovic's crossbar on two occasions.
The win sees the Blues go only nine points behind Manchester City in fourth spot. However, despite the spirited display, experienced defender Thiago Silva did not seem happy at the full-time whistle.
The Brazilian was spotted standing on the halfway line shaking his head after Luton pushed the west Londoners until the end at Kenilworth Road. He was also seen in a dispute with Enzo Fernandez about something after telling the TNT Sports camera crew to move away from him.
It's currently unclear what the 39-year-old was exactly annoyed at, although the fact that Chelsea allowed Luton back into the game with two soft goals after racing into a 3-0 lead could be something to do with it.
