England's preparations for Euro 2024 are starting to ramp up.
The Three Lions will face formidable opposition in their March friendly matches in 2024, with Brazil and Belgium both facing Gareth Southgate's side at Wembley Stadium.
While the games themselves might be meaningless in a sense, they will give players the chance to stake a claim for the final squad for this summer's tournament in Germany, plus it will show the manager how will his team can match up against some of the top sides in the world.
Players including Marcus Rashford and Kalvin Phillips could see their places come under threat amid difficulties at club level in 2023/24, while there could be some surprise inclusions for the likes of Liverpool's Joe Gomez and Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland. Manchester United teenager Kobbie Mainoo has also been touted for the senior squad, although promotion to the Under-21 side under Lee Carsley feels more likely at this point.
The Sporting News has the details on when Southgate's latest squad will be announced below.
