Man United put five players up for sale before Liverpool clash
Liverpool have their last Europa League group-stage match and a League Cup quarter-final clash wedged between four Premier League encounters, against Manchester United, Arsenal, Burnley and Newcastle United in 18 days.
Manchester United are the visitors to Anfield on Sunday. It will be the first time the Red Devils have been back to the ground since their 7-0 drubbing in March.
Their manager Erik ten Hag is under huge pressure after his side went down 3-0 at home to Bournemouth on Saturday. It was their seventh defeat of the Premier League season so far.
After the League Cup quarter-final at home to West Ham United, Liverpool then host Arsenal in a top-of-the-table encounter, before travelling to Turf Moor for a Boxing Day showdown with struggling Burnley.
The Reds then kick off the New Year with the reverse fixture against Newcastle, after Darwin Nunez's heroics secured an unlikely comeback win at St James' Park in August.
