Liverpool are reported to have extensively scouted Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise as the Reds eye up a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Elsewhere, the Reds have been dealt a double blow in their reported pursuit of Benfica duo Antonio Silva and Joao Neves.
As the latest talents to come through at the club this year, both have allegedly gained a number of high-profile suitors from around the continent as their performances have helped Benfica lead the way in Liga Portugal.
However adding to rumours of incredible release clauses in their contracts, manager Roger Schmidt has moved to shut down all speculation ahead of the January transfer window.
