Willie Collum's Rangers referee record IN FULL including Celtic derby battles amid penalty snub drama

Rangers are demanding Willie Collum is not involved in any of their games in the future after his controversial VAR call in the Old Firm game at the weekend.

And here's his record of being a referee at Rangers matches since he took charge of his first encounter involving the Ibrox club back in March 2007. Collum did show a red card in his first ever game involving the Light Blues after just 14 minutes, but it was for Caley Thistle's Darren Dods. And Craig Dargo grabbed a late equaliser for ten-man ICT as his first taste of Ibrox ended in a 1-1 draw.

The whistler has been in charge of ten Old Firm matches and Rangers have only won one of them - the first one he took charge of in 2010 where Rangers won 3-1. Since then, Celtic have won eight of the eight Old Firm games Collum has been the man in the middle and drawn once. Collum, 44, has been in charge of 67 Rangers games from that match in 2007 until the last match he refereed involving the Ibrox club which was in December when he officiated at Tynecastle as Rangers won 1-0. Rangers have won 44 of those matches, lost 15 and drawn eight times. He's shown eight red cards in total to Rangers players and awarded them 20 penalty kicks.

He sent off John Lundstram and Alfredo Morelos in a 2-2 draw at Hibs in 2022, Daniel Candeias at St Mirren in 2018, Ryan Jack at Aberdeen and Michael O'Halloran at Motherwell both in 2017 and Philippe Senderos at Celtic in 2016.

He also showed red cards to Kenny Miller in 2009 against Dundee United in a game Rangers won 7-1 and Sasa Papac against Falkirk in 2009. And Collum has twice awarded Rangers THREE penalty kicks in one game!
