WWE legend Mick Foley made an unscripted stop at Anfield on Thursday - although not to come and watch Liverpool in this weekend's Merseyside derby as he is instead due to appear at Comic Con.
Foley, 58, rose to fame as a professional wrestler in the United States, working for promotions such as the WWE when still under the WWF banner, as well as the WCW, ECW, TNA and NWA.
Some may be more familiar with the 'Cactus Jack', 'Mankind' or 'Dude Love' personas he operated under throughout his era, as he was regarded as one of the best for becoming a four-time world champion and generally just being hard as nails - after all, not many can say they've been thrown from the top of a 22ft cage onto a folding table by The Undertaker.
So a glittering 29-year career came to end in 2012, resulting in a deserved induction into the WWE's 'Hall of Fame' a year later. He has since gone on to make a career as an author and actor.

Back in June Foley was named on the star-studded roster of guests to appear at Comic Con, which is to be held at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool this Saturday and Sunday.
And now he was spotted taking in the sights, particularly the home of Liverpool Football Club, as he announced his arrival in the city on Instagram.
Presumably his pre-existing commitments may get in the way of a Merseyside derby appearance on Saturday, although that is yet to be seen. He is also not the first of wrestling fame to pop at the ground - Sheamus being a regular Anfield-goer over the years.
