Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has been urged to 'correct mistakes' as his stint with Saudi club Al-Ettifaq is turning into a 'disaster'.
Despite having players like Georginio Wijnaldum, Moussa Dembele and Demarai Gray at his disposal, along with long-serving former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson as skipper, the team have slipped to seventh place in the Saudi Pro League after back-to-back defeats.
After Al-Ettifaq's 1-0 defeat to Al-Riyadh on Sunday, Gerrard admitted: "We didn't show what was required of us. We weren't at the level we'd hope to be at.

"The opposition's plan was clear to frustrate and wait for the opportunities. The mistakes cost us today, we gifted three points to Al Riyadh."
One Al-Ettifaq fan responded by saying: "Being a great player does not mean being an excellent coach. The coach's capabilities are limited and he could not understand the difficulty of the Saudi League."
One supporter said: "You are the one who bears blame for today's match.. Correct your mistakes." Another commented: "Your team is disastrous, Coach. You must correct it yourself."
A fourth added: "The excuse is unacceptable. This is the state of the team. What is new that you can say?" The result was even more damaging due to the quality of the opposition, with Al-Riyadh winning just two of their opening nine matches.
Henderson and Gray both played the full 90 minutes in the disappointing defeat, amid reports Ettifaq are interested in signing former Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard. Next up is a trip to face mid-table rivals Al-Wehda, with Gerrard already
