Endrick has already done his last duty, in terms of titles, for Palmeiras. The 17-year-old striker has won the Campeonato Paulista with his team by beating Santos 2-0. It is the last trophy before he lands at the Santiago Bernabeu later this summer.
The striker was jubilant in front of the media about the final: "I felt like it was my first game, my first final. I started crying, all this changed my life, my family's life. I'm very grateful to be part of Palmeiras and I only have God to thank for that," he said.
"Palmeiras was the team that trusted me when I had nothing. Palmeiras is my favourite team and I needed to repay them in some way. This title is for everyone at Palmeiras, for all the employees and fans," Endrick added.
The young striker is already slowly beginning to see his way to Spain: "I'll be honest. When I was in the national team, I realised that, with Vinicius and Rodrygo asking when I was going to arrive".
"I know I'm leaving, I'm not naïve, but my head is still here. The only thing I'm sure of in life is that death comes. I don't know if I'll be alive tomorrow, so I'm going to think about today," he said.
