Manchester United were never likely to be ultra active in the January transfer window - but the Red Devils could still get some deal's wrapped up before the deadline.
After being backed to the tune of around £170million in the summer, Erik ten Hag knew that bolstering his squad with real quality mid-way through the season was unlikely. That hasn't prevented a flurry of names being linked with United, though, including Premier League old boys Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Timo Werner.
The arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos, who are now in control of sporting operations after acquiring a minority stake in the club, should mean that the Dutchman will be given the scope to remould his squad in the summer.

Facundo Pellistri looked the most likeliest mover on deadline day, but he's already sealed his switch away after sealing a six-month loan to La Liga outfit Granada in a bid to play regular football.
The Uruguay international, 22, was kept around by Ten Hag in the summer amid interest from elsewhere. However, the Dutchman has changed his tune and has now given Pellistri the green light to leave on a temporary basis.
Pellistri is unlikely to be the only United player heading out the door, though, as there is uncertainty surrounding a couple of other fringe players as we head into deadline day.
Amad has been heavily linked with another loan move to Sunderland, where he thrived last year, although it seems as though United would rather keep the Ivory Coast international around. But that stance could change and stranger things have happened on deadline day.
