Huge news emerged out of Old Trafford on Monday.
As exclusively revealed by Mirror Football, Erik ten Hag is facing a dressing-room revolt at Manchester United. Several members of his squad are to said to be disillusioned, with the Red Devils struggling to pick up results in the Premier League and in Europe.
United are seventh in the table after losing 1-0 to Newcastle at St James' Park on Saturday. They will also need to beat Bayern Munich in seven days' time and hope Galatasaray's clash with Copenhagen ends in a draw to progress from their Champions League group.
With Ten Hag's problems mounting at Old Trafford, Mirror Football takes a look at some of the players he's fallen out with in the past - including several in Manchester...
Ten Hag's most recent spat happened during Saturday's game. Martial, who's failed to find form and fitness at Old Trafford since the Dutch coach's arrival in May 2022, was spotted shouting and gesturing in his manager's direction. Ten Hag was doing the same back at him.
"This seems to be the culture within this team at the minute," Jermaine Jenas told TNT Sports while watching a replay of the row. "A lot of arm raising, a lot of blaming of one another, and no cohesiveness. They're not together - and he (Ten Hag) can feel it."
Ten Hag was asked about the row during his post-match press conference on Saturday. He said: "It's not about Anthony Martial; it's about the team. I try to energise the team and try to get a reaction from the team in this moment. As you see, we had a tough period and when you're coaching, you are a little more aggressive, so that's normal."
Only time will tell whether Martial is still in Ten Hag's plans...
