Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr suffered their second consecutive defeat after they were beaten 3-1 at home by Al Raed.
Ronaldo made his domestic return following his one-game suspension for performing an 'obscene gesture' towards Al Shabab fans in his most recent Saudi Pro League game.
However, the Portuguese star's comeback couldn't inspire Al Nassr to victory as they fell further down the league table and away from Al Hilal who sit nine points clear, with a game in hand.
The Knights of Najd were also beaten earlier this week as they lost 1-0 in Abu Dhabi against Al Ain. That defeat came in the first leg of the AFC Champions League quarterfinals, a competition the Yellow Army are desperate to win.
It's a worrying time to be an Al Nassr fan as they've now gone three matches without a win, and the pressure is piling on manager Luis Castro.
