Aldi has issued an emergency recall ahead of Christmas Day.
The supermarket giant has urged anyone who recently purchased a specific set of fragrances to return them to stores immediately due to the possibility of broken glass. The fragrances mentioned in the recall are Lacura Cozmo His 100ml & Lacura Cozmo Hers 100ml with batches featuring the barcodes 4061459901849 or 4061459901863.
In a statement Aldi said: ‘Please note that the following Emergency Withdrawal and Public Product Recall has taken place. As a precautionary measure, our supplier is recalling this product due to a fault which may cause the glass bottle to break.

"We have removed these products from sale in our stores and are recalling all affected products. We apologise that this product did not meet our normal high standards and thank you for your co-operation."
The eau de parfums cost £6.99 a bottle. Both fragrances have now been removed from shelves and the online store.
Anyone who has purchased a bottle is urged not to use it and instead return it to the store where they will be issued with a full refund.
