Andy Robertson injury update as Liverpool plan confirmed by Scotland boss
Scotland boss Steve Clarke has confirmed that Andy Robertson will be assessed by the Liverpool medical team after suffering a potential injury.
Robertson was substituted in the first half of Scotland's 1-0 defeat to Northern Ireland on Tuesday. The Reds left-back had started the game and was captaining his country, but was not able to complete the first half.
A tackle from Northern Ireland defender Trai Hume resulted in Robertson undergoing treatment on the pitch from the Scotland medical staff. The Liverpool defender was eventually substituted in the 37th minute, with what appeared to be a potential ankle injury.
Liverpool now face a nervous wait to discover the full extent of the injury. Clarke confirmed after the game that Robertson would undergo further assessment by the medical team on Merseyside but did not know the severity of the injury so soon after the match.

"He's just come off the pitch. Let the injury take its course," Clarke told reporters on Tuesday night. "He'll go back to his club, they will assess it and hopefully it's not too serious."
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that the injury to Robertson is not a serious one with a busy fixture schedule looming. The Reds return to Premier League action this weekend against Brighton at home, before hosting Sheffield United at Anfield a few days later.
