Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglu has provided a mixed injury update ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash away at Fulham. Richarlison has trained and will be back in contention, but defender Micky van de Ven has suffered another injury setback.
The 22-year-old was forced off just four minutes into the second-half of last weekend's comprehensive win over European rivals Aston Villa. Radu Dragusin replaced the Dutchman after 49 minutes of Sunday's 4-0 win at Villa Park after Van de Ven went down off the ball.
Richarlison has provided a timely boost after returning to first-team training this week. The Brazilian suffered a knee injury against Wolves last month and has been forced out of the last twoPremier League encounters against Crystal Palace.
The 26-year-old was in fine form prior to his setback after netting five goals in as many games, including his brace against former club Everton. Postecoglu provided an update on the injury concerns in North London, as there was a positive development surrounding Van de Ven's fitness.
«Micky is the only one from last week; look, it's not as severe as the last one, and he probably came off at the right time,» the Australian said. Van de Ven missed two months of action from November after suffering a hamstring injury during the incident-packed defeat at home to Chelsea.
«He'll miss tomorrow, but with the international break, we're pretty confident he won't miss too much more,» Postecoglu added. «The only other one is Richy, Richy trained so if he pulls up okay he should be available for tomorrow.»
