Arsenal blew their chance to go back level at the top of the Premier League with a 2-1 loss at Fulham. The game got off to a superb start for the Gunners who were in front after just five minutes. Bernd Leno could only tip Gabriel Martinelli's curling shot straight into the path of the onrushing Bukayo Saka who tapped home.
Fulham responded well though, and went close through Raul Jimenez. Eventually they got their equaliser as Jimenez stretched to turn home Antonee Robinson's cross at the back post.
The home side continued to dominate after the break despite Arteta's decision to replace Jakub Kiwior with Takehiro Tomiyasu. They eventually took the lead when Bobby De Cordova-Reid tapped home after a scramble at a corner.

David Raya: Not at fault for either goal. Good in distribution and made several good saves to stop Fulham from scoring more. The one from Cairney in the second half was a standout. 7.
Ben White: Caught out of position a few times down the right hand. Robinson was allowed to get dangerous crosses in far too often. Didn't offer much going forward. 5.
