Arsenal's run in compared to Liverpool and Man City in the title race

After Arsenal's 3-1 win over Liverpool, it's officially a three horse title race. «We are there, that’s for sure,» Mikel Arteta said of his side's chances of winning the Premier League this season in his post-match press conference.

«We want to continue to be there. We’ve been really consistent all season, if not you aren’t where we are today. We take it game by game, the availability of the squad is going to be crucial. We have learned that from last season. Let’s try to make that happen.»

In Manchester City and Liverpool, Arsenal face a daunting task. The pair between them have won 14 of the last 18 available major domestic trophies in England. Arteta's young side have only the 2020 FA Cup as evidence they can get over the line and from the matchday squad that day only Bukayo Saka, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah are still at the club.
