Arsenal have done all they can to take points off their rivals. They end the top three mini-league with the most points (8) and were the only side to actually win a game in these giant tussles. That might not be enough, though.
With nine games to go, the title is still out of their hands. Try all they can, if Liverpool win each of their remaining games there will be nothing that Mikel Arteta can do.
There are 27 points up for grabs in the final two months of the season, Arsenal simply need to ensure they generate at minimum more than two extra over the Reds. The task is far from simple though as battles across the Premier League remain in the top four, for second-rate European competitions, and at the bottom.
