Arsenal are desperate to revive their Premier League title fight as they host Crystal Palace at the Emirates on Saturday.
The Gunners have fallen off their perch atop the table thanks to a poor run of form highlighted by three defeats across their last five matches. Since beating Luton Town 4-3 on December 5, the Gunners have just a single victory across all competitions, most recently seeing them knocked out of the FA Cup at the hands of Liverpool.
They also trail the Reds in league play, sitting fourth in the table, five points back of leaders Liverpool and three points behind both Man City and Aston Villa directly above them.
Crystal Palace have their own issues to work through, as the Eagles sit 14th in the table. They are five points clear of the drop zone and they don't yet feel in danger of being sucked into the relegation scrap, but will need to be careful to avoid their position becoming more precarious.

Crystal Palace just simply cannot create chances at the moment. They were shut out over both FA Cup matches against Everton, and they have scored multiple goals in just two of their last 10 matches.
Worse still, in both those games (a 2-2 draw with Man City and 3-1 win over Brentford), the Eagles outscored their expected goals, relying on excellent finishing instead of chance volume. Over the long term, especially against a solid defensive structure like Arsenal, that won't bear much fruit.
Roy Hodgson's side has been mostly solid at the back despite the creative issues, but not enough to keep the Gunners out, even if they are in a bad run of form. A slip here would be quite worrisome for Mikel Arteta's side.
