The England Under-21s are set to continue their journey towards the European Championships this week, with a match against Azerbaijan Under-21s on Friday. The Young Lions, who are currently second in Group F of the qualification standings for the 2025 European Championships, will be travelling to Baku for the game.
So far, Lee Carsley's team have earned 12 points from their five matches played at the halfway stage of qualifying. After the match against Azerbaijan on Friday, they'll be heading back home to face Luxembourg next Tuesday.
In their last two qualifiers, the Young Lions managed to secure 3-0 wins over Northern Ireland and Serbia back in November. They're hoping to maintain this winning streak in their upcoming match against Azerbaijan on Friday.
The match between Azerbaijan U21s and England U21s is scheduled to kick off at 12pm UK time on Friday, March 22 from the Azersun Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan.
There are two ways fans can watch Friday's game between England Under-21s and Azerbaijan. The first is through the FA Player, which is available on the FA's website.
Fans will also be able to watch the game live on YouTube via England's official channel. The stream will be available online, on YouTube's TV app and mobile devices.
