Barcelona train without Torres but with Raphinha
Barcelona face the most important game of their season on Tuesday in the Champions League. They have to get through to the quarter-finals against a Napoli side they drew against in the first leg, which took place in Italy. Xavi Hernandez ordered a preparatory session on Monday morning, when he was without Ferran Torres.
The Spaniard is still sidelined with a muscle problem that has plagued him since the match against Osasuna around a month ago. He already missed the first leg against the Italian side and will not be part of his coach's plans, who, at least, had the consolation of seeing Raphinha work despite the fact that he picked up a knock to his foot against Mallorca this week.
Journalists at Barcelona's training complex such as Ferran Martinez and Helena Condis report that Marcos Alonso will be the only new addition to the squad for the upcoming Champions League challenge.
The absences of Pedri Gonzalez and Frenkie de Jong are two huge blows for the Catalan side's midfield, which has already undergone several experiments over the course of the season. Vice-president Rafa Yuste was at the training complex to watch Barcelona's training session.
