Ange Postecoglou is closing in on a fully-fit Tottenham squad at such a crucial time of the season. Seeing Giovani Lo Celso make his comeback in training this week and also Son Heung-min and Yves Bissouma return from international duty, the Spurs boss only has Ryan Sessegnon and Manor Solomon in the treatment room at present.
That in turn means that Postecoglou has some huge calls to make in terms of his starting XI with a whole host of options across the park. Returning to action on Saturday against Brighton & Hove Albion, the main decisions Postecoglou has on his plate are in midfield and attack.
So what alterations could take place following last weekend's 2-2 draw at Everton? football.london take a look below.
Bissouma could be in contention to make his first Tottenham appearance since the win over Nottingham Forest in December after his return from the Africa Cup of Nations. Postecoglou revealed in his pre-match press conference that his player trained well at Hotspur Way and now the Spurs head coach needs to decide if the Mali international is in a position to go straight back into the team against Brighton.
Tottenham have missed his quality on the ball and the defensive side of his game during his absence and it will come as a big boost to have him back in the squad once again. Bentancur could be the player to make way for the ex-Brighton star as he could maybe do with a slight breather as he looks to try and recapture his previous levels going on his struggle for form of late.
If Bentancur is to get the nod from the off, Bissouma will more than likely be eased back into action from the bench.
