The snapping up of all available sellable tickets* during the General Public purchase period, which commenced at 12pm yesterday, followed an incredible pre-sale period on Monday, 18 December which saw over 25,000 bought in the space of four hours.
Showcasing the soaring popularity of women's football in Australia, the remarkable run of sell-out matches began with the emotional FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023TM Send-off Match on 14 July (also held at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne) and continued through to the seven thrilling CommBank Matildas matches during the FIFA Women’s World CupTM and the recent Asian Qualifiers held in Perth, Western Australia in October, including a sell-out at Optus Stadium.
