Lee Clark, father of Liverpool starlet Bobby, has revealed his wish for his son to one day return to Newcastle United.
The Reds signed Clark from Newcastle in August 2022 when he was 16 years old. He is the son of Magpies legend, Lee, who made more than 250 appearances for the St James' Park club during his playing career.
Since signing for Liverpool, Clark has gone on to progress from the club's Under-18s up to the first-team. This season has seen the 19-year-old become a regular figure in Jurgen Klopp's matchday squad, where he has already made 11 appearances across all competitions.
Clark scored his first senior goal for the Reds on Thursday night in the 6-1 win over Sparta Prague in the Europa League last-16 second leg. The feat was the latest of many that have already been achieved by the teenager this season at Anfield.

"My ultimate wish would absolutely be to see Bobby playing for Newcastle," said Lee Clark on the No Tippy Tappy Football by William Hill and Footy Accumulators. "I don’t know how many father and son combinations have both appeared for the club.
"I was lucky enough to play for them 265 times and, who knows, he might have to do an Alan Shearer and come back! That would be my dream."
Lee Clark went on to reveal how his son informed him of the news that Klopp would be leaving the club at the end of the season. Klopp announced the news on January 26, just a couple of days
