Phil Foden scored a fine hat-trick as Manchester City came from behind to beat Brentford on Monday night.
City had trailed through Neal Maupay's goal but Foden then took centre stage, assisted by both Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland as the pair started together for the first time since the opening day.
The champions leapfrogged Arsenal with the win back into second and closed the gap to Liverpool to two points following the Reds' loss to the Gunners on Sunday.
