Glentoran's request to host the Irish Cup Semi-Final with Linfield at Ulster Rugby's Ravenhill ground has been denied
The Irish Football Association have ruled out Ulster Rugby’s famous Ravenhill home as a venue for March’s Big Two Irish Cup Semi-Final, despite Glentoran’s desire for the game to be played at a neutral venue.
Following a crunch meeting at the National Stadium on Tuesday afternoon, the Irish FA are set to make an announcement on Wednesday confirming the venue and date for both the mouthwatering Semi-Finals – Linfield against the Glens and Cliftonville versus Larne.
