Mauricio Pochettino was greeted by a hostile reception at Villa Park on Wednesday as Chelsea supporters booed the under-pressure manager ahead of the club's FA Cup fourth round replay against Aston Villa.
Still reeling from Chelsea's woeful 4-2 defeat by Wolves in the Premier League last weekend, fans were keen to voice their frustration towards the Argentine manager, whose future at Stamford Bridge is under threat amid a disappointing campaign.
Chelsea, who were hoping to kick on from the misery of last season under Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and interim manager Frank Lampard, have endured a similar campaign this term and currently sit 11th in the Premier League after their poor performance at Molineux.
Arriving ahead of Chelsea's FA Cup clash with Aston Villa, a replay of the two club's 0-0 stalemate at Stamford Bridge earlier this month, Pochettino was loudly booed by a group of Blues supporters.
One fan could be heard shouting: 'You're getting sacked in the morning'. Pochettino simply responded by waving to the supporters.
