Reece James is back in training with Chelsea almost two months after he picked up a hamstring injury.
The 23-year-old developed the injury in a training session in August, having featured in Chelsea's Premier League 1-1 opener against Liverpool.
James also missed the latter half of last season's Premier League with a hamstring problem he picked up in April.
The England international has suffered with numerous injuries during his career and was only able to make 16 Premier League appearances for Chelsea last season.
But in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Chelsea posted a picture of James in training with the caption: «A sight to behold!»
Fans were quick to express their delight at James' return to the training pitch.
One wrote: «OUR CAPTAIN IS BACK.»
Another added: «Haha we're coming for the Premier League trophy.»
And one fan wrote: «Captain fantastic, better than Captain America.»
After a poor start to the season which saw Chelsea win just one out of their first six Premier League games, they recorded a convincing 2-0 win over their London rivals Fulham.
A sight to behold!
