Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has revealed he is doing everything he can to convince Victor Osimhen to join his old club in the summer transfer window. The Napoli forward has continued to be heavily linked with a summer move to the Premier League despite signing a new contract with the Italian champions at the end of 2023.
Alongside Chelsea, there remains interest from Arsenal, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. Napoli president Auerlio De Laurentiis has already revealed that the striker will leave the club in the summer.
«This was already known since the summer, our negotiations [over the new contract] were friendly, otherwise it would not have been so long,» he said in January. «We knew he would go to Real Madrid, PSG or a top English club.»

However, Mikel has continued to do his best to convince the 25-year-old to move to Stamford Bridge. Last month, the ex-Chelsea man claimed he was the striker's 'agent' and he's now revealed his method of securing the deal.
«I keep sending him text messages, calling him and making sure he joins Chelsea,» he told The Standard.
