Chelsea star drops huge injury update as Mauricio Pochettino given answer to key problem

Chelsea starCarney Chukwuemeka has dropped a hint over a potential return from injury on his social media, handing a boost to head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Taking to Instagram, the midfielder posted a picture of himself in football boots with a caption that involved an hourglass, seemingly suggesting he will be back soon. That would be welcome news to all involved at the club, especially given their recently long list of injury troubles.

Add to that the problems that Pochettino has faced in unlocking defences early into the Premier League season too. The new head coach has four points from the opening four games with their only two losses coming against West Ham and Nottingham Forest respectively.

Both teams have looked to play without much possession and aimed to hit the Blues on the counter attack whenever possible. Given how much possession the west Londoners had and the chances that came their way, it was simply a lack of clinical edge that saw them fall to defeat.
