Liverpool will be without several big players for the trip to Brighton today after being hit with injuries and suspensions.
Cody Gakpo will miss the match after being injured in the defeat to Tottenham last week, while Diogo Jota and Curtis Jones are suspended. Gakpo was substituted at half-time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium just minutes after he had cancelled out Son Heung-min's 36th-minute opener.
The Dutchman was fouled by Spurs full-back Destiny Udogie moments before his neatly struck equaliser and shortly after replaced by Jota. However, Gakpo wasn't the only member of Liverpool's squad who left the field prematurely during the defeat in North London, with both Jones and Jota shown a red card by referee Simon Hooper either side of their side's equaliser.
