Cole Palmer summed up the feeling of Chelsea fans Christopher Nkunku posted some pictures of his recovery from injury.
The striker arrived at Stamford Bridge over the summer from RB Leipzig but is yet to make an appearance for the Blues due to a knee injury sustained in pre-season.
However, Nkunku took to Instagram to share a series of snaps as he steps up his recovery and closes in on a return to action.
Including a ticking clock and fist emojis, Nkunku's post was captioned: «Getting closer.»
Among the replies was another Chelsea new boy, Palmer, who simply commented with two sets of eye emojis in an apparent hint at his excitement ahead of Nkunku's return.
The 25-year-old suffered a knee injury at the start of August during a pre-season clash with Borussia Dortmund.

He then underwent surgery which left him sidelined for 'an extended period of time', however the hope is that he could make his return in the coming weeks.
Nkunku arrived for a fee of £53million from RB Leipzig, having scored 70 goals in 172 matches for the German side.
