The cancellation of Tottenham's pre-season match against Leicester City in rain swept Bangkok affected plenty of people in and around the club.
Despite the best efforts of the ground staff, the huge downpours ahead of kick-off caused puddles across the turf and after a 40 minute delay the match officials at The Rajamangala Stadium had seen enough and recommended the encounter should not go ahead due to the safety risk.
The loss of the match will have a knock-on effect on plenty of different people both inside and outside Spurs.

Ange Postecoglou
The beleaguered Spurs head coach is having to roll with the punches during Spurs' tour across the world. It has been dominated by talk of Harry Kane, culminating in that bizarre Bayern shirt stunt by a German reporter during the pre-match press conference in Thailand which didn't leave the Australian best impressed.
On top of that, Tottenham's opponents in Singapore, Jose Mourinho's Roma, had pulled out due to financial issues with an earlier part of their tour, leaving Spurs to take on Singapore Premier League side Lion City Sailors this week at short notice.

For context, a second string Dortmund side without their World Cup players beat Lion City 7-2 in a friendly in Singapore in November.
That meant Postecoglou really needed to give his players a good run out against Leicester to continue to get his methods and ideas across to them.
That opportunity was lost for the Australian, who is also still awaiting a new centre-back or two in what has become a different summer to the one he probably envisioned
