Darwin Nunez has issued a message to Liverpool fans after helping the club climb to the top of the Premier League table.
The Reds claimed a 2-1 win over Brighton on Sunday thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz. Liverpool were facing the Seagulls in their first match after the international break, ahead of what is expected to be an intense run-in during the title race.
Elsewhere, Manchester City were held to a goalless draw with Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. The points being shared between Man City and the Gunners was good news for Liverpool in the race for the title.
Jurgen Klopp's side are now two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table with nine fixtures left to play. Man City are three points behind the Reds in third, with neither of the title rivals now set to face each other this season.
