Summary: Usuthu have been busy in the market but have yet to see Niger forward Victorien Adebayor, who is reportedly stuck in that country due to the military coup. They could still add to their squad with several trialists.

Confirmed signings: Thabiso Kutumela (Mamelodi Sundowns, loan), Tshegofatso Nyama (TS Galaxy), Jo Paciencia (InterClube, Angola), Luyolo Slatsha (promoted), Ramazani Tshimanga (JS Groupe Bazano, DR Congo)
Summary: Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler has confirmed the club have signed Mamelodi Sundowns forward Thabiso Kutumela on loan for the season. The two previously worked together at Maritzburg United. Tinkler has been worried about his team’s firepower despite a string start from Angola striker Jo Paciencia.
