EA FC 24 have introduced a brand new feature that combines esports and real-life players for the first time.
The FC Pro promo directly relates to the FC Pro Open event that sees professional esports players competing against each other.
Each competitor has been assigned a special FC Pro card of a real-life player in Ultimate Team and their performance in the event impacts the item’s upgrades.
As this type of promo has never been seen before, talkSPORT.com has broken down how the upgrades work and their current progress.
There are five different upgrades available for the FC Pro cards.
We are aware that the FC PRO Open Diogo Jota Objective Group does not currently feature a way to upgrade 86 OVR Diogo Jota. We are investigating the issue and will provide an alternate upgrade path in the near future.

Liverpool's Diogo Jota is an avid fan of EA Sports' franchise, whipping out celebrations inspired by the game formerly known as FIFA.
As a nod to his prowess in the virtual world, with Jota himself even defeating eSports professionals, he was awarded his own card.
The Portuguese was revealed as the FC Pro Live objectives player, with fans able to nab the 86-rated CF by completing four in-game tasks.
Jota's card is NOT tied to any esports players' performance, but EA have confirmed he can get a boost to an 87 overall at a later date.
