Foot Mercato are reporting that English and Spanish sides are interested in a move for Olympique de Marseille midfielder Azzedine Ounahi (23).
Ounahi started the season on the left of midfield, an unfamiliar position for the Moroccan international, but since the club’s elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Marseille, he has been on the pitch for just one minute. Naturally, therefore, questions are being asked about his future at the club.
There is interest in the former SCO Angers midfielder, who only arrived at OM last January, after having impressed in the World Cup with Morocco. However, according to Foot Mercato, and contrary to other reports, Ounahi has never been open to a move to Saudi Arabia.
English and Spanish sides, whose identities have not been revealed, are also interested in Ounahi. Despite receiving assurances from club president Pablo Longoria about his role in the project at Marseille, there is nonetheless a chance that Ounahi will leave. However, Marseille’s position on a potential move remains to be established.
