Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel is adamant that Ineos should stick with Erik ten Hag following Sunday's exhilarating 4-3 FA Cup triumph over Liverpool, insisting a change could do more harm than good.
United progressed to the semi-finals of the FA Cup for the second season in a row after twice coming from behind to beat their arch rivals in dramatic fashion at Old Trafford. Amad scored a 121st-minute winner to seal United's passage to the last four and set up a clash with Coventry City at Wembley next month.
As a result, United's hopes of ending this season with silverware are still alive, boosting their chances of the campaign being described as a success. Ten Hag, speaking pre-match on Sunday, described it as a 'do or die' contest.

The United boss has been under mounting pressure in recent weeks and his position is understood to be uncertain ahead of the summer. Ineos have analysed potential replacements, including Brighton & Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi.
However, Schmeichel believes Ten Hag should keep his job amid the sweeping changes that are being made off the field. He also felt that he looked like a 'different man' following the conclusion of Sunday's dramatic cup tie.
"I don't see any reason for a change (of manager after this season)," Schmeichel told BBC Radio 5 Live. "I don't see any reason for a change in the first place.
"There's a lot of other positions in the club that need changing, and you can’t do everything in one go. I was pleased with him yesterday, I have to say.
